My COVID-19 Hero
The COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on global economies and Nigeria was not left behind. At it’s peak, the world was completely shut down with an enforced lockdown that continued for months.
For this reason, a few Private Sector organisations led by Herbert Wigwe and Aliko Dangote birthed the Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID), to help combat the spread and
effects of the virus in Nigeria.
In conjunction with these efforts, some individuals also took it upon themselves to donate and help in anyway they could.
In a bid to identify, appreciate and celebrate these individuals for their selfless efforts, we developed the #mycovid19hero social media campaign on our social media handles @myaccessbank on Instagram and Twitter.
Following the huge success and reception on social media, we have decided to bring it back for a second time and also increased the prize money. We urge you all to get involved and share this campaign with your circle. They should simply, follow us on Instagram and Twitter and nominate their COVID-19 Hero using the hashtag, share a story of their COVID-19 Hero along with a picture and use the hashtag #mycovidhero.
