Seinfeld
Seinfeld follows the neurotic adventures of Jerry Seinfeld and his neighbour in New York. It aired from 1989 to 1998, over nine seasons. Seinfeld is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential sitcoms of all time.
E! named the series the "Number 1 reason the '90s ruled", and they definitely didn't lie.
The show is credited for coming up with catchphrases that are used till this day. 'If he's snoozing, he's losing!' Don't you just love the 90s!
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
The show chronicles the adventures of Sabrina Spellman, a girl who discovers on her sixteenth birthday that she is a witch. As a novice witch, her spells often go awry. Her aunts Hilda and Zelda Spellman counsel her on the proper use of her magic and give her moral advice. Additionally, Hilda and Zelda must take care of Salem Saberhagen, a witch, turned into a cat for trying to take over the world. The show ran for 7 seasons, from 1996 to 2003.
This show ignited my fascination with the mysterious world of witchcraft. Before you start hunting me down or praying, I mean 'witchcraft' in the oyinbo movie- type sense.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
A cheerleader is chosen to battle the forces of evil as she weathers the storms of young adulthood in an imaginative series that blends killer writing and performances.
The series narrative follows Buffy Summers, the latest in a line of young women known as "Vampire Slayers", or simply "Slayers". In the story, Slayers, or the "Chosen Ones", are chosen by fate to battle against vampires, demons, and other forces of darkness. Buffy wants to live a normal life, but as the series progresses, she learns to embrace her destiny. Like previous slayers, a 'watcher,' who guides, teaches, and trains her, aids Buffy. Unlike her predecessors, Buffy surrounds herself with a circle of loyal friends who become known as the "Scooby Gang".
