Safe Isolation of
Servers and Workstations
Do not panic and shutdown a suspected compromised system.
However, in the event of a cyber incident that may affect any of the following, simply follow the instructions below.
Workstations and ATMs
Carefully remove the network cable and isolate the system. If the workstation or laptop is using a Wi-Fi network, immediately put it on airplane mode.
Servers (Physical and VMs)
Immediately contact the Infrastructure Engineering Unit (ITInfrastructureManagement@accessbankplc.com)
to help remove the server from the network and provide further support.
Taking memory dump of a suspected and compromised system is critical and necessary for effective forensic analysis.
Always escalate such incidents to Information and Cyber Security.
