Fraudsters are constantly coming up with new ways to trick unsuspecting customers into divulging sensitive banking information. Be wary of various avenues used by fraudsters to steal information, such as fake websites and public Wi-Fi.
It is important to stay fraud alert in order to protect ourselves and better serve our customers.
For added security, take note of the following tips:
Always confirm that a website is secure before entering card details
Beware of public Wi-Fi as information sent using public Wi-Fi can easily be accessed by fraudsters
Never click links, open or download attachments or software from unknown sources, emails or text messages
Never disclose personal banking information such as 16-digit card number, password, PIN, BVN or One-Time Password (OTP) to anyone even if they claim to berepresentatives of the Bank.
Encourage your friends, family and customers to call us immediately on 01-2712005 or send an email to contactcenter@accessbankplc.com to report any suspicious activity on their account.
