Similarities and Differences Between
Data Security and Data Privacy
Humans are often considered the biggest risk to data privacy and security.
As an Access Warrior, it is important for us to understand Data Privacy Policy.
Privacy matters because the Bank's most valuable asset is data, and it comes with significant risks.
Privacy and security are often used synonymously, but each term carries its own importance within the enterprise.
Data Privacy is how data is collected, stored, properly used, transmitted, retained, and destroyed.
Data Security are the policies, methods, and means to secure personal data.
For example, if you are using Google Gmail account your password would be a method of data security, while the way Google uses your data to administer your account, would be data privacy.
