importance
of data privacy
To meet compliance requirements
The Bank risks losing certifications and valuable business relationships by not complying with our various contractual requirements for privacy protection.
To prevent breaches that hurt data subjects
By implementing security controls for personal data, breaches that negatively impact the data subjects/customers will be avoided.
Maintaining and improving brand value
We need to avoid data breaches, as they can seriously damage the Bank's reputation and brand value. When our customers voluntarily give their data to us, they expect it to be well- protected. If it's not, we will lose all our customers' trust , leading to a decrease in our brand value.
Protecting your customers' privacy
Data breach can lead to theft of sensitive customer information, which can negatively impact the Bank. A hacker can use all that sensitive information to commit various crimes such as identity theft and credit card fraud, which will affect the Bank's Customers.
