Imposter: Is your Access ATM card there with
you?
Customer: No it's not here with me
Imposter: Can you get it ma because we need to ask a few questions concerning that ATM card okay? For now, we can still give you some numbers the system will select for you, okay?
Customer: Okay
Imposter: Hold the ATM card in your hand
madam, do you have it now? Customer: Yes
Imposter: On the front of the card you will see a valid thru and expires end date, can you see it?
Customer: Yes
Imposter: What is the expiry date on the card?
Customer: 2022
Imposter: The month and the year Customer: January 2022 Imposter: Ok so 01/22 Customer: Yes
Imposter: At the top where you saw 01/22 madam, please I want you to confirm our account number written there starting with either 5 or 4. It's a 16 or 19-digit number
Customer: Yes
Imposter: Have you seen it? What starts your
own 5 or 4?
Customer: It starts with 4 Imposter: 4 what? Customer: 4-1-9
Please alert your customers to such calls and remind them Access Bank will never ask for passwords, codes, or PIN and they should never reveal them to anyone.
