WHAT IS ACCESS MOBILE? Access Mobile is the Mobile Banking service of Access Bank Plc. With it, a Customer can do basic banking transactions from the convenience of the mobile phone anywhere anytime.

  • Pay your bills at your convenience (DSTV, HiTV; PHCN/‘NEPA’, etc.)
  • Pay business partners and suppliers without stress.

  • Save yourself the hassles of having to visit the Bank every time.
  • Enjoy convenience.
  • Take your Bank with you wherever you go!

The transactions available on the Access Mobile service include:
  • Funds Transfer (Inter-Bank & Intra-Bank)
  • Bills Payment
  • Phone Airtime Purchase
  • Balance Enquiry
  • Mini Statement

For Customers that are on the MTN and Airtel GSM networks, any mobile phone may be used with Access Mobile as it is possible to use a USSD Short Code to access the service on these networks, without the need for the Access Mobile service application. For all other networks, the mobile phone has to be Java-enabled in order to be able to run the Access Mobile service application. In addition, the phone also need to be web-enabled so as to be able to download the Access Mobile service application or has Bluetooth in order to be able to receive it from another phone.

Security is ensured on the Access Mobile service with 2-Level Authentication and Message Encryption (3DES). A memorable word, or password, is needed to gain access to the service application before anything else may be done. Then to do transactions a PIN is needed each time. Similarly, the SMS, or text message, the service application sends from the phone to the service is encrypted using Data Encryption Standard. So the transaction PIN and other confidential information are secure.
Security is further enhanced on the service by the protection provided by a Spending Daily Limit. Call or e-mail the Access Bank Contact Center for the current limit (See Contact below).

Access Mobile is a premium service with applicable transaction charges. The Inter-Bank Funds Transfer and the Bills Payment transactions are each charged. All other transactions are free. Also, enrollment is free and there is no monthly or any other periodic charges:
  • Funds Transfer
    • Intra-Bank Funds Transfer - free
    • Inter-Bank Funds Transfer - charged
  • Bills Payment - charged
  • Phone Airtime Purchase - free
  • Balance Enquiry - free
  • Mini Statement - free
