Access Branch Collections
This is a product that caters for customers and their agents/ representatives who wish to make physical lodgements at any of our branches nationwide. It allows customers to deposit cash, cheques, drafts, and carry out Interswitch payments (like DSTV, PHCN, FIRS, etc) at the various branches of the bank and get immediate value for all cash and Access Bank cheque deposits and appropriate value dates for all other cheques and drafts.
For reconciliation reasons, customers are to have special non-checking collection accounts opened, into which deposits are made. Balances are then swept on a periodic basis, to the main Collections account depending on terms of service agreement.

Access Cash and Cheque Pick Up Service
This is a service that gives customers a convenient Cash and Cheque pick-up service where the bank’s representatives pay visits to the customers’ work premises at agreed intervals to collect cash or cheques for onward transmission to the bank. Customer’s account in Access Bank will be credited with the value of the funds collected same day or within 24 hours if the customer has a Late Deposit Agreement with the bank. However, the cheques of other banks will be credited with appropriate value date.

Access Implant Service
This is a service rendered by the bank whereby convenient teller services are provided “on-site” for customers who receive a high volume of payments (cash, cheques, or drafts) on their premises. The teller will be located in the customer’s office to deal with all cash receipts and payments (petty cash, salary disbursement, etc) as required and at the end of each day, customer’s receipts will be evacuated and transported to the Bank. All credits and debits are reflected in customer’s accounts with Access Bank within 24 hours.

Access Revenue & Utility Collections/ Remittance
This product involves corporate collections such as DSTV bills, Zain, sale of scratch cards, Direct Debit, etc; Government collections viz: FIRS, PHCN, States IGR, Customs Duty, others.
It allows both customers and non-customers pay their utility bills, duties, levies, taxes, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in an efficient and cost effective manner. Payment is made at any of the designated branches of Access Bank mainly via the collections platforms - Pay-Direct and E-tranzact platforms
Most of the Tertiary institutions use the E-Tranzact platform for their collections – school fees, registration fees, etc.


  • Online real-time access to view all collections made on product(s) in different banks
  • Rather than a statement (which is just a snapshot of all the activities); detailed information are captured as required and can be viewed instantly
  • Reporting requirements are met.
Access Direct Debit
It is a mass collection product which enables corporate bodies who expect a large volume of specified periodic payments to outsource the collection of such payments to Access Bank. Such periodic payments include: subscriptions, insurance premiums, lease rentals, tithes, postpaid bill payment, etc. is collected on behalf of customers irrespective of where the accounts of their clients are domiciled. Based on client’s mandates, Access Bank collects the payments from the customer’s clients, in line with pre-advised dates, through a Direct Debit instrument sent through the clearing house. Churches also use the Direct Debit application in the payment of tithes and pledges.
