Professionalism
At the core of every successful brand is professionalism. Professionalism means adhering to a skill set or code of conduct required from a person who has been trained to do a job. Every profession has its own code of conduct and as a Bank employee, we are bound to operate within industry standards as well as the Bank's particular rules and values.
As a professional, you are defined by your knowledge as well as your attitude when faced with situations.
Are you a professional? do you know your products, your customers and most importantly, the industry? Professionalism requires utilizing the best of your knowledge and expertise when dealing with stakeholders, it is therefore important that you take the time and make the effort to continue learning in the workplace in order to serve customers better.
What is your attitude to work, people and situations? As a professional, you are expected to respond to emails and customer complaints promptly, be polite and courteous when communicating with internal and external customers.
As a brand custodian, professionalism requires that you put your best foot forward at all times, always act with the highest level of composure and integrity, be willing to apologize and seek ways to solve problems, let your tone of voice and body language communicate your sincerity and willingness to serve.
Our customers need to know that when it comes to professionalism, at Access Bank, there are no days off.
