The PTA request
Last month, an elderly lady with a walking stick slowly walked up to the BSM, She had come to request PTA and was told she would not get it the same day due to the long queue for the same request.
The lady immediately burst into tears, saying she was going for a medical procedure. She was already financially stretched and would not be able to get the funds from the black market.
The BSM was mortified seeing the elderly lady cry and took action to obtain the PTA.
A mail was sent to the PTA desk describing the situation with an appeal to assist the senior citizen who was also making the request through her Evergreen Account. Jumoke, the Unit Head immediately jumped on the mail, requesting her team to make an exemption and process the lady's request.
The BSM excitedly gave the elderly lady the good news upon receiving the positive response. Filled with joy, she collected the funds, prayed for the Bank and all in the branch.
Jumoke and her team left an indelible mark that day in the heart of everyone.
