The objective of having a clean and clear screen, particularly when working remotely, is to ensure you do not expose (sensitive, restricted, classified, internal) documents that could lead to a data breach or loss.
Here are steps to maintain the Clean Desk Policy:
Step 1
Lookthroughyourlaptopordesktop displayscreenforfilesorfoldersthat you have stored or accessed.
Step 4
Create a shortcut of same folder on thelaptopordesktopscreen.
Step 2
Create a folder and move all work files and folders except approved installed apps.
Step 5
Ensure that your workstation's screen has an automated lock/idle scrensaver.
Step 3
Move this newly created folder to your'Document'folder.
Always lock your screen.
