cheque payment limits
In line with the directive from the Central Bank of Nigeria,
the maximum limit for cheque payments (to a single beneficiary) is N10million daily.
Please encourage customers to use any of our e-channels platforms to make payments to their beneficiaries for values above this limit. Splitting cheques into lower thresholds where the cumulative value will exceed the daily limit is also against the CBN directive.
Where cases of violation are observed, kindly file a Suspicious Transaction Report.
