Recently, there has been an up-rise in fraudulent activities on digital banking channels. Fraudsters often tend to pose as employees of the Bank or reach out to customers using fake social media accounts in a bid to obtain their personal bank account details.
In spite of how much innovation social media has brought to businesses, bigger brands are now faced with the challenge of impersonators and online fraud to which, so many vulnerable customers have fallen victim.
One major way we are trying to put a stop to this is by sensitizing our customers on fraud awareness and communicating our correct social media handles they can trust.
