Is financing available under the program?

Yes. A minimum of N500,000 is available. For more information, contact your local Access Bank branch.

Can this program allow me to attend business seminars
and workshops abroad?

It is possible if we have foreign trade forums or training programs. You will be notified when this comes up.

Is the GEM program available in all branches of Access Bank?

Yes. It is coordinated regionally in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt but you can get information from all of Access Bank’s branches.

Do I need collateral for the loan?

Yes, you do. However, the collateral type is very flexible and will depend on the nature of your business. It could also include inventory, equipment shares of blue chip companies, landed properties,etc.

What is the tenor of the loan?

The maximum tenor of the loan is 5 years however this tenor will be dependant of the nature of your business.

Does the GEM Program cover overdrafts, short term loans and working capital?

Yes it does.

What are the requirements for qualification for a loan?

Must be an Access bank GEM member
Must have maintained an active account with the bank for a minimum of 3 months
Complete and submit loan application form. This can be obtained from any branch of Access Bank

What is GEM Account?

GEM Account is a special current account for women.

Is GEM Program only for established businesses?

No. The program is for every stage of businesses.

We have segmented our members based on the business needs and have 3 different stages of their business (Early stage, Growth stage and Established stage) and we have appropriate programs for each stage.

What events do you have?

We have the following events:

A quarterly training program.
A quarterly breakfast meeting.
A quarterly networking meeting.
