A domiciliary account is an account maintained in foreign currencies other than Naira. The account can be opened immediately at any of our branches in the following currencies:

  • US Dollars
  • British Pounds
  • Sterling Euro

The minimum opening balance for the Access Bank Domiciliary Account is Five hundred US Dollars (US $500) or its equivalent in Euro or Pounds Sterling, you can also earn interest on balances above $10,000 (Ten Thousand Dollars) or its equivalent.

The following transactions can be carried out on your domiciliary account:

  • Telegraphic funds transfer – 3rd Party & Own
  • Withdrawal of foreign currency cash and travelers cheques
  • Deposit of foreign currency cash and travelers cheques
  • Clearing of foreign currency cheques
  • Foreign currency draft issuance
  • Letters of credit
  • Transfer of funds into your domiciliary account through any of our correspondent banks

 

The account opening process can start immediately by downloading the forms from http://www.accessbankplc.com/download_center.aspx. However, you will have to visit any of our branches to complete the process.
